The West Bengal Public Service Commission has declared the result of Mains Exam held from 29th to 30th September, 1st and 3rd October 2023. A total of 271 candidates called to Personality Test for Group – C Services and Posts. The West Bengal Public Service Commission has officially postponed the WBPSC WBCS Prelims Exam Date 2023, tentatively scheduled on 3rd October 2023 due to unavoidable circumstances.
The WBPSC has declared the WBCS Result for the Prelims 2022. The qualified candidates are eligible for the Mains examination.

The candidates must complete the WBPSC WBCS Application 2023 online on the official website for the WBPSC Recruitment 2022. Any other mode of application will not be accepted under any circumstances. The application process for WBCS Exam 2023 will remain active from 28th February to 21st March 2023.
The application forms for the WBPSC WBCS Recruitment 2023 must be completed by visiting the official website for the WBPSC applications. The candidates must read and fill out all the information required in the online application accurately. They must also attach the required scanned copies of documents and pay the examination fee through the specified mode of payment. Step 2: Complete the signing-up procedure and enter your login details to access the WBCS application form.
Step 3: Fill out all the required details in the application form and attach the scanned copies of the necessary documents.
Step 4: Verify all the information you have provided in the form for accuracy and click on “Submit.”
Step 5: Complete the process of paying the examination fee. Once that is done, your application process is completed. The applications of the candidates that do not pay the examination fee, if required of them, will be dismissed.
Step 6: Download the filled out application form and receipt for the examination fee payment for future reference.
The candidates must attach all the required documents and proof, such as Age and ID Proof, Matriculation Marks Sheet and Passing Certificate, Nationality Proof, Address Proof, Caste and Migration Certificate (if required), etc. Candidates will be required to produce the original copies of these documents at the time of verification.

The WBPSC WBCS Recruitment Notification 2023 contains the relevant information regarding the eligibility criteria. The details regarding the WBPSC WBCS Syllabus 2023 are provided in the recruitment notification. The selection process for the post comprises a Prelims Examination, a Main Examination, and a personality test.
The Prelims Examination comprises one paper on General Studies. It contains 200 MCQ-based questions worth 200 marks (each section 25 marks) and will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours. The marks obtained by a candidate in the Prelims examination is only for selecting candidates for the Main examination. These marks will not factor in their final scores or selection.
The Main Examination comprises 6 compulsory papers and 1 optional subject (two papers) for candidates of Group A and B. Each paper in the Main Exam will be for 200 marks and for a duration of 3 hours. 4 of the 6 compulsory papers will be MCQ-based and the other 2 will be of conventional writing-type.
