UPSC IFS Mains Admit Card 2023 Out on 17th November 2023! The Mains Exam is scheduled from 26th November 2023 to 3rd December 2023 (with no paper scheduled on 27th November 2023). The shift timings for the Forenoon Session is 9.00 AM to 12.00 Noon & for the Afternoon Session is 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM. Candidates can download the mains hall ticket notice from the link given in this article. Earlier, the UPSC IFS prelims result was out for the exam conducted on 28th May 2023. The Indian Forest Service (IFS) examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the recruitment of officers at the All India level by the Government of India for scientific forest management. The UPSC IFS Mains 2023 exam will be held on 26th, 28th, 29th and 30th November 2023 and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd December 2023. The Union Public Service Commission has announced the UPSC IFS exam schedule 2023 for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2023. The UPSC IFS Mains 2023 exam will be held on 26th, 28th, 29th and 30th November 2023 and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd December 2023.
UPSC has announced the final result of the UPSC IFS 2022 cycle based on the Mains exam conducted beteween 20th-27th November 2022 and the Interview round on June, 2023. A total of 147 candidates have been recommended for appointment on merit-basis. Check out the official UPSC IFS Final Result 2022 notice below.
The UPSC has released the result of the UPSC IFS Prelims that were held on 28th May 2023. Candidates whose roll number is in the result PDF are qualified for admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2023. The UPSC Exam Calendar for 2024 has been released. As per the calendar, the UPSC IFS Notification will be released on 14th February 2024.
The UPSC has released the Phase IV Interview Schedule for the 2022 cycle. The interview will be held form 5th June 2023 to 20th June 2023.
The UPSC has released the Interview Schedule for the Phase III of the Interview being conducted for the IFS 2022 cycle. The interview is scheduled from 24th April to 18th May 2023.

Candidates must fill out the application form correctly, to avoid any printing mistakes on the admit card. The application process for UPSC IFS can be done only through Online mode.
Below are the steps to apply for UPSC IFS
Step 1: Visit the official website.
Step 2: Candidates must fill out all personal information, such as their name, age, and address, during Part I registration.
Step 3: After completing this step, candidates must double-check to make sure they have filled in all of the required information. After you click the submit button, you can't make any changes.
Step 4: Candidates must submit all required documents, including educational certificates, identification proof, age relaxation is applicable, portrait, signature, payment information, and a declaration, during Part II registration. (Please attach your photograph and signature in JPG format). You can use Testbook Resize Tool.
Step 5: Candidates must also select a test center.
Step 6: Candidates must also provide a genuine email address that will be used in the future.
Step 7: Candidates can ultimately click on the “I Agree” option and submit the application form after filling in all the details. Candidates will be given a Registration Number; make sure to keep it safe and make copies of the application form for future reference.
Candidates can deposit the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, by using the net banking facility of the State Bank of India, or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit card.

The Union Public Service Commission will conduct a Screening Test for selection to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2023, through the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2023, in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change. The stages of the Selection Process are as follows:
Candidates who are interested in the recruitment must check the eligibility criteria. Before applying for the UPSC IFS exam, you must meet specific criteria, according to the official notification. To be eligible for this exam, you must meet the following conditions.
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st August 2023.

A candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Zoology, or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University, or possess an equivalent qualification.
A candidate must be either :-
(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
A candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) must be a person in whose favour the Government of India has issued an eligibility certificate. A candidate who requires a certificate of eligibility may be accepted to the test, but the offer of appointment will be made only when the Government of India has provided the appropriate eligibility certificate.
According to the official announcement, each candidate is limited to a certain number of attempts. The number of attempts for the IFS Exam exam by category are listed below.
In the IFS Exam 2023, there will be two exams: a preliminary exam and the main exam. You must pass the preliminary exam in order to sit for the main exam. The maximum score for the interview is 300. A Board of competent and unbiased observers will interview the candidate, who will have a record of his or her career in front of them. The purpose of the interview is to determine the candidate's personal suitability for the Service. The candidate will be expected to have shown a keen interest not only in his or her academic subjects, but also in events taking place around him or her, both within and outside his or her own state or country, as well as in contemporary currents of thought and new discoveries that should pique the interest of well-educated youth.
