The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) released a notification for the post of Civil Judge. Candidates with a Graduate degree in Law are eligible for this post. The UKPSC has announced the Mains Exam Schedule for the Uttarakhand Judicial Services Civil Judge Examination 2022. The exam will be conducted from 23rd to 26th August 2023. The admit card for the same will be released on 8th August 2023.

UKPSC Civil Judge Eligibility Criteria 2023

The Commission has described the eligibility in terms of nationality, education, age limit, and marital status.

Uttarakhand Civil Judge Education

To be eligible for the post of Uttarakhand Civil Judge, the candidates must have the following qualifications:

• The interested candidate must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized University.
• Must possess a thorough knowledge of Hindi in the Devanagri script
• Basic knowledge of Computer Operation is mandatory.

UKPSC Civil Judge Age Limit

The age of the candidates applying for the post of UKPSC Civil Judge must be as follows:

• The candidate must be aged between 22 to 35 years as of 1st January 2023.
• The upper age limit will be relaxed as per the Govt rules to the reserved category candidates.

Uttarakhand Civil Judge Nationality

The candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidates from the following nationalities are also eligible:

• Tibetan refugees who migrated permanently to India before 1st January 1962.
• Indian origin people from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania migrated permanently to India.

Marital Status

Male candidates married to more than one alive partner or female candidates married to an already married person are not eligible to apply.
