Applicants willing to apply for the post of Junior Engineer can now again apply for the post of Junior engineer in different branches. Candidates can apply between 25th July 2023 till 24th August 2023. Step 02: Register yourself online using your credentials.

Step 03: Log in using your registration ID and password once registered.

Step 04: Search for “TPSC JE Application” and fill in the required details.

Step 06: Once complete, submit the online application fee. 

Step 07: Take a printout of the application form for future reference.

TPSC Junior Engineer Selection Process

Candidates applying for the Tripura Junior Engineer position will be selected according to the following criteria.

• Preliminary Exam
• Mains Exam
• Interview

The examination shall have the following three parts namely:

1. i) Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type) carrying 100 marks. The Preliminary Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only for the purpose of selection of candidates for the Main Examination. The marks obtained in this examination by the candidates will not be considered for final selection. 
2. ii) Main (written) Examination carrying 500 marks. The minimum cut off marks to qualify for interview cum Personality test in main Examination is 40% in aggregate for UR & 30% in aggregate for Reserved Category Candidates. The selected candidates on the basis of results of the Main(Written) Examination will be allowed to appear in the Interview Cum Personality Test. 

iii) An Interview-cum-Personality Test carrying 50 marks

TPSC Junior Engineer Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must ensure they fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria before filling up the applications for TPSC JE.

TPSC JE Age Criteria (As on 26.12.2022)

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 40 Years

TPSC JE Educational Qualification

Educational Qualification: Junior Engineer, Grade-V(A), Degree

A candidate must have at least a Degree in an appropriate branch of engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent academic qualification.

Candidates who have obtained a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering are to be considered as equivalent to Electrical Engineering, Civil and Transportation Engineering are to be considered as equivalent to the Civil Engineering and production Engineering are to be considered as equivalent to the Mechanical Engineering. It is applicable for instant recruitment of graduate engineers only. 

Candidates who have obtained a degree in Construction Technology and Management are to be considered as equivalent to the Civil Engineering branch.

Educational Qualification: Junior Engineer, Grade-V(B), Diploma

A candidate must have a Diploma in an appropriate branch of engineering or its equivalent academic qualification from a recognized institution
