The candidates can apply from 18th January 2023 to 17th February 2023. Candidates can fill in the application form following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the SSC official website.
Step 2: Click on the “New User” button on the right side of the page and fill the One Time Registration Form.
Step 3: Register yourself by filling in the details like Aadhar Number, Name, Fathers Name etc.
Step 4: Attach the recent passport size photograph, scanned signature, educational qualification certificates
Step 5: Registration Number and Password will be sent to your mail. Login with the credentials and click on the ‘Apply Link’ button.
Step 6: Carefully check the details cand click on the ‘I agree' button.
Step 7: After you have made the payment, print the e-receipt and save it for later use.

The educational qualification required for SSC Havaldar recruitment 2023 is that the candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board. The candidate should meet the minimum educational qualification criteria before applying for the post. Candidates with higher qualifications are also eligible to apply for the post of Havaldar.
Candidates who meet the educational and physical standards criteria are required to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PET includes various physical tasks such as running, long jump, high jump, etc. The tasks are designed to test the physical fitness and endurance of the candidates. Male candidates are required to complete a 1.6 km run in 6 minutes and 30 seconds, while female candidates are required to complete a 1 km run in 5 minutes and 30 seconds. Candidates are also required to complete a long jump of 11 feet for male candidates and 8 feet for female candidates. Similarly, candidates must complete a high jump of 3.5 feet for male candidates and 2.5 feet for female candidates. Below are the details of the physical efficiency test.

The salary of SSC Havaldar in 2023 is based on the 7th Pay Commission recommendations. As per the official SSC Havaldar Salary, the basic pay for the post https://testbook.com/ssc-havaldar/salary-job-profileis Rs. 25,500 per month. In addition to this, the Havaldar is entitled to various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), etc. These allowances are revised from time to time as per government norms. The DA for Havaldar is currently 17% of the basic pay, which amounts to Rs. 4,335 per month. The HRA for Havaldar is based on the city of posting and ranges from 8% to 24% of the basic pay. The TA for Havaldar is Rs. 3,600 per month. In addition to the basic pay and allowances, Havaldar is also entitled to other benefits such as medical facilities, pension, gratuity, etc. The pension is based on the revised pension rules for Central Government employees, while the gratuity is based on the length of service.
