SSC Havaldar Admit Card has been released for the PET/PST stage. The Physical Test is scheduled from 22nd to 24th November 2023. Earlier, the SSC Havaldar 2023 Paper 1 exam was held from 1st September to 14th September 2023. The Staff Selection Commission had released the SSC Havaldar notification 2023 for the Non-Technical post of Havaldar on 18th January 2023. A total of 529 vacancies have been released for SSC Havaldar Recruitment 2023 cycle.

  • Candidates had applied for SSC Havaldar Recruitment 2023 in CBN and CBIC under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance from 18th January 2023 to 17th February 2023.
  • The selection process will be based on the performance of the candidates in Computer Based Examination (Paper-I), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST).
  • The Exam Pattern of CBT Examination have been revised completely. Earlier, there were 4 subjects of 25 questions each but now, these 4 subjects are divided into Session 1 & Session 2 where Numerical & Mathematical Ability & Reasoning Ability falls under Session 1 and 20 questions will be asked from each subject. General Awareness & English language consists of 25 questions each and falls under Session 2.

SSC Havaldar Apply Online 2023

The candidates can apply from 18th January 2023 to 17th February 2023. Candidates can fill in the application form following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the SSC official website.

Step 2: Click on the “New User” button on the right side of the page and fill the One Time Registration Form.

Step 3: Register yourself by filling in the details like Aadhar Number, Name, Fathers Name etc.

Step 4: Attach the recent passport size photograph, scanned signature, educational qualification certificates

Step 5: Registration Number and Password will be sent to your mail. Login with the credentials and click on the ‘Apply Link’ button.

Step 6: Carefully check the details cand click on the ‘I agree' button.

Step 7: After you have made the payment, print the e-receipt and save it for later use.

Note:

  • The colour passport size photograph should not be more than three months old from the date of publication of the Notice of Examination
  • The photograph must be in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB).
  • Image dimension of The photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
  • The Scanned signature must be in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB).
  • Image dimension of the signature should be about 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height).

Application Fee

  • The candidates must pay Rs.100/-.
  • The payment can be done online via BHIM UPI, Net Banking, By MasterCard, Visa, RuPay, Maestro Credit or Debit Cards.
  • The payment can also be made offline through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
  • Women, and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/ESM or eligible for other reservations and are exempted to pay SSC MTS Application Fees 2023.

The SSC Havaldar selection process 2023 consists of various stages, including a written examination, physical fitness test, and medical examination. The selection process will be rigorous, and candidates who clear all the stages will be selected for the post of Havaldar in the Indian Army. SSC Havaldar Eligibility Criteria 2023

Eligibility Criteria plays an important role in shortlisting the candidates for the selection process. The candidates must meet the details of age limit, educational qualification, etc to attend the recruitment.

Age Limit ( As of 01.01.2023)

The age limit criteria for the SSC Havaldar post is strictly adhered to, and candidates failing to meet the criteria will not be eligible to apply for the recruitment process. It is advisable that candidates check the eligibility criteria before applying for the recruitment process to avoid any inconvenience. Check the age limit criteria here:

  • The age of the candidates applying for Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue) must be between 18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1998 and not later than 01-01-2005)
  • The age of the candidates applying for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) is 18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2005).

Age Relaxation

There are certain relaxations in the age limit for candidates belonging to specific categories. The upper age limit relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories is up to 5 years, while candidates belonging to OBC categories are given a relaxation of up to 3 years. Candidates belonging to ex-servicemen, sports persons, etc., are also given age limit relaxations as per the government norms. However, there are certain relaxations in the age limit for candidates belonging to specific categories. The upper age limit relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories is up to 5 years, while candidates belonging to OBC categories are given a relaxation of up to 3 years. Educational Qualification

The educational qualification required for SSC Havaldar recruitment 2023 is that the candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board. The candidate should meet the minimum educational qualification criteria before applying for the post. Candidates with higher qualifications are also eligible to apply for the post of Havaldar.

Physical Standards

Candidates who meet the educational and physical standards criteria are required to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The PET includes various physical tasks such as running, long jump, high jump, etc. The tasks are designed to test the physical fitness and endurance of the candidates. Below are the category-wise physical standards required for the candidates to attend the recruitment.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Male candidates are required to complete a 1.6 km run in 6 minutes and 30 seconds, while female candidates are required to complete a 1 km run in 5 minutes and 30 seconds. Candidates are also required to complete a long jump of 11 feet for male candidates and 8 feet for female candidates. Similarly, candidates must complete a high jump of 3.5 feet for male candidates and 2.5 feet for female candidates. Below are the details of the physical efficiency test.

SSC Havaldar CBT Exam Pattern 2023

Below is the detailed exam pattern for the SSC Havaldar examination.

  • The exam will be conducted for 270 marks.
  • A total number of 90 questions are asked.
  • There will be no negative marking in Session-I. In Session-II,
    there will be negative marking of one mark for each wrong
    answer.

SSC Havaldar Salary 2023

The salary of SSC Havaldar in 2023 is based on the 7th Pay Commission recommendations. As per the official SSC Havaldar Salary, the basic pay for the post https://testbook.com/ssc-havaldar/salary-job-profileis Rs. 25,500 per month. In addition to this, the Havaldar is entitled to various allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), etc. These allowances are revised from time to time as per government norms. The DA for Havaldar is currently 17% of the basic pay, which amounts to Rs. 4,335 per month. The HRA for Havaldar is based on the city of posting and ranges from 8% to 24% of the basic pay. The TA for Havaldar is Rs. 3,600 per month. In addition to the basic pay and allowances, Havaldar is also entitled to other benefits such as medical facilities, pension, gratuity, etc. The pension is based on the revised pension rules for Central Government employees, while the gratuity is based on the length of service.
