How to Apply for SAIL Operator cum Technician Recruitment 2023?

The candidates must apply through online mode from 20th November to 16th December 2023. The steps to apply for the recruitment has been mentioned below.

Step 1: Go to the official website and click on the “careers” option which is mentioned in the above menu.

Step 2: Scroll down to the bottom of your screen and here you can find the Current Job Openings option, Click on it.

Step 3: Click on the post you wish to apply.

Step 4: Complete the One Time Registration process by filling the email id, mobile number, name, etc.

Step 5: User ID and Password will be sent to your mail.

Step 6: Login with User ID and Password and fill the application form with address, date of birth, educational qualification, fathers name, etc.

Step 7: Attach the educational documents, category certificate and upload recent passport size photograph.

Step 8: Pay the required fees and click on the submit button.

Step 9: Download and take a printout of the application form for future reference.

SAIL Operator-cum Technician Selection Process 2023

• The candidates will undergo 2 stages of selection process - Computer Based Examination and Skill Test.
• The candidates who are qualified in the CBT will be shortlisted for skill test / trade test in order of merit, at the ratio of 1:3 for each post.
• Skill Test / Trade Test will only be of qualifying in nature. For final selection, weightage of marks of the CBT will be 100%.
