16th August 2023: RPSC RAS Application Correction Window Opened

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has made live the application form correction link. The correction window is open from 17th August 2023 to 26th August 2023. Candidates can not change their name, photo, father's name, DOB, or gender. An application correction fee is applicable of Rs. 500. RPSC RAS Apply Online 2023

The step-by-step instructions to apply for the RPSC RAS recruitment exam and to fill the application form are detailed below. Read them before you attempt to fill the application form.

Step 1: If you have not registered into the database of the commission, create your login ID and password through the SSO portal. 

Step 2: Once you have created your login ID and password, you will find the section of ongoing recruitment. 

Step 3: Select the RPSC RAS recruitment exam and fill the application form with all the details in their respective columns. 

Step 4: Once you have filled all information correctly, you can upload the scanned copies of the required documents. 

Step 5: Check your form again for any mistake or error. Once you are satisfied that all information input is correct, click on submit. 

Step 6: Now you will be redirected to the online payment portal. Pay the application fee through any means desirable. 

Step 7: Once the payment is successful, you can download the application form. 

Step 8: Keep the RPSC RAS application form safe with you as you will require it in the future. 

RPSC RAS Application Fee

Every applicant needs to pay a certain amount of application fee so that their application form can be submitted successfully. If you fail to pay the application fee in due time, then your application form will be rejected by the commission. RPSC RAS 2023 Selection Process

The RPSC RAS selection process includes three stages. The details about all these stages have been given below so that the candidates can understand all the levels they need to qualify before they finally get selected. 

RPSC RAS Preliminary exam 

Consists of objective questions and can be held in an online or offline format. 

RPSC RAS Mains Exam

Successful candidates equal to 15 times the total vacancies shall be appearing for the mains exam. The questions in the main exam will be of descriptive type. 

RPSC RAS Personality Test and Viva-voce

The candidates who are selected after the main exam will then be called for a personality test and viva - voce. This stage also carries marks that will be added to the overall result of the candidate. 

The final selection of the candidate at the post of RPSC Rajasthan Administrative services will be made according to their overall result.

The RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria is based on the candidate's age, qualification, nationality, etc. Those who do not fulfil these requirements will be disqualified. Check the expected RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria below.

RPSC RAS Age Limit:

The age of a candidate when they are applying for the RPSC RAS recruitment exam should lie between 21 and 40 years as of 1st January 2024. Candidates belonging to some categories get relaxation in the upper age limit. These are detailed in the following table.

RPSC RAS Educational Qualification:

The candidate must hold a Degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government in consultation with the Commission

RPSC RAS Experience:

This RPSC RAS eligibility criterion is only applicable to the non gazetted employees. They should have completed at least five years of service before they apply for the RPSC RAS recruitment exam.

Personality & Viva-voce Syllabus

Candidates who qualify in the written test of the Main Examination shall be called an interview for a personality test which carries 100 marks. The Commission awards marks in respect of character, personality, physique, etc. Candidates are also tested on knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

However, for selection to the Rajasthan Police Service, candidates having ‘C’ Certificate of N.C.C. shall be given preference. The marks so awarded shall be added to the marks obtained in the written test by each such candidate.

  • All the questions are multiple-choice based.
