Educational Qualification:

• The candidates must graduate from a recognized university.
• Applicant must have passed matriculation with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective
  subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi Language, as specified by the
  Punj.ab Government from time to time.

Work Experience:

• Information Technology in Office Productivity Applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is lSO 9001 certified;

OR

• Possesses at least 120 Hours' working experience in Computer Applications from a recognized institution or a Certificate of `0' Level from the Department of Electronic Accreditation of Computer Course (in short DOEACC).

Nationality Criteria

• The candidate must be an Indian Citizen. OR;
• A Subject of Sikkim, Nepal or Bhutan
• A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the Ist January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Punjab Patwari Selection Process 2023 

The selection of the candidates for Punjab Patwari is purely on their performance in the written examination. A merit list will be announced after the written examination which will have the names of the selected candidates.

• The candidates who get selected for the recruitment process will have to undergo a selection process, which will be a written exam.

The Punjab Patwari exam is to be an objective type based multiple-choice questions exam. The exam pattern for the written exam will be as follows.

• The exam is conducted for 150 marks.
• A total number of 150 questions are asked.
• Each question carries 1 mark.
• There is no negative marking in the Part A section and there is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer in the Part B section.
• The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.
