13th September 2023: PSSSB Legal Clerk Counselling Schedule Out!

The Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board has released the official notice regarding the re-counselling of candidates for PSSSB Legal Clerk recruitment under Advt No. 02/2022. Aspirants who were absent for the counselling round held on 12th September 2023 are called for re-counselling on 15th September 2023 at 10 AM.

PSSSB Legal Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2023

The PSSSB has declared the eligibility criteria for the Legal Clerk post in terms of education and age limit. The one who satisfies the eligibility criteria can apply for this PSSSB Legal Clerk Recruitment 2023.

A. Educational Qualification

  • The candidate must be a Law Graduate from a recognized university or institution
  • Possesses at least 120 hours course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution, which is ISO 9001, certified OR Possess a Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Government of India.

B. Age Limit

The minimum age limit shall be 18 years as of 1st January 2022. The upper age limit shall be as per the category and will be only applicable for residents of Punjab.

PSSSB Legal Clerk Selection Process 2023

  • The selection of the candidate shall be done on the basis of three stages of selection namely Objective Type Test, Punjabi and English typing, and Counseling.
  • Candidates from all the categories need to score at least 40% marks in the objective type test.
  • The candidates need to clear the typing test with a speed of 30 words per minute
  • Successful candidates shall be called for counselling.
  • The details on exam pattern and syllabus shall be released soon by the Board.

  • The PSSSB Exam will be Objective Type.
  • Questions will be asked in the form of Multiple Type Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • The exam will be bi-lingual (English & Punjabi).
  • The Total Number of Questions in this exam will be 100.
  • The maximum marks for this exam will be 100.
  • Each Question will be of 1 mark.
  • There will be a Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks.

PSSSB Legal Clerk Salary Details

Candidates selected under PSSSB Legal Clerk will receive a salary according to the Payscale of the 7th Pay Commission. The PSSSB Legal Clerk remuneration per month is INR 19,900/- i.e the annual PSSSB Legal Clerk salary sums up to INR 2,38,800/-.
