Candidates who want to apply for the above-mentioned posts must fulfil the following eligibility criteria as per the official PNB SO Notification.

PNB SO Nationality/Citizenship

The candidate must be one of the following - 

  1. A citizen of India
  2. A subject of Nepal
  3. A subject of Bhutan
  4. A refugee from Tibet who came to India before 1st January of 1962. 
  5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated to India from one of the following countries - Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

Officer-Credit

Candidates must have a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, or Cost Management Accountant (CMA-ICWA) qualification from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification from the CFA Institute (USA).
Officer-Industry Candidates should possess a full-time degree in B.E./B.Tech. in streams such as Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Textile, Mining, or Metallurgy from any recognized/approved Institute/College/University. A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade is required.
Officer-Civil Engineer Applicants should have a full-time degree in B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering from any recognized/approved Institute/College/University. A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade is required.
Officer-Electrical Engineer Candidates must possess a full-time degree in B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering from any recognized/approved Institute/College/University. A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade is required.
Officer-Architect: Candidates should have a full-time degree in B.Arch. or an equivalent qualification from any recognized/approved Institute/College/University. A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade is required.
Officer-Economics

Candidates should have a full-time Graduation Degree with Economics as the main subject from a recognized/approved University.
Manager-Economics Applicants should possess a full-time Graduation Degree with Economics as the main subject from a recognized/approved University.
Manager-Data Scientist and Senior Manager-Data Scientist Candidates must have a full-time degree in B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science from any recognized/approved Institute/College/University. A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade is required.

PNB SO Age Limit (As on 01.01.2023)

The age of the applicants must be between 21 to 38 years to be eligible (depending on various posts). However, there are age relaxations given to various candidates in terms of upper age limit as listed in the below table.

PNB SO Selection Process 2023

The selection process for the posts of Officer Fire Safety, and Manager Security will include the following stages:

  • Shortlisting of applications
  • Interview, and/or Written Exam

PNB SO Exam Pattern 2022

 A written exam may be conducted for shortlisting of candidates for the interview, if deemed necessary by the authorities. In such a case, candidates must familiarize themselves with the PNB SO exam pattern prescribed by the authorities. The details of the same are mentioned below.

PNB SO Cut Off 2023

Once the online test is completed, the Bank will release the official cut off on its website. Only those candidates who will score the minimum cut off will be considered for the final merit list.
