How to apply for the OAVS Recruitment 2023 Online?

Candidates interested to apply for the OAVS Recruitment 2023 can apply on the official website of OAVS. The last date to apply for the OAVS Recruitment will be announced by the commission. Candidates can refer to the stepwise procedure provided below to apply online for the OAVS Recruitment 2023.

OAVS Application Fee 2023 

Candidates applying for the OAVS Recruitment 2023 need to pay a certain amount of the application fee in order to complete the application process. The candidates can pay the requisite OAVS application fee through online payment methods like Debit Card/Credit Card and Net Banking Payment Mode through ‘State Bank Collect Only. The OAVS application fee excluding the bank charges and service tax is shown below. The fee once submitted is non-refundable. It is advisable to take a printout of the fee receipt once the transaction is successful.

OAVS Selection Process 2023

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the online examination, interview and performance test as applicable for each post. There will be three stages under the OAVS selection process.

• Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Interview
• Performance Test (as applicable)

OAVS Eligibility Criteria 2023

The candidates, before applying, must make sure whether they satisfy the following OAVS eligibility criteria or not.

A. Age Limit 2023 

B. Education 2023 

C. Nationality 2023

The interested candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidates of other nationalities are not eligible to apply.

D. Other Criteria

In addition to the three major eligibility criteria, the candidates must also satisfy these miscellaneous conditions.

• He/she must be of sound mind. The candidate must be in a good state of mental health.
• The candidate must not have more than one living spouse. Candidates with multiple married partners are not eligible to apply.

OAVS Exam Pattern 2023 

Candidates appearing for the OAVS Exam 2023 must know the OAVS Exam pattern and syllabus before starting with the preparation process. The detailed OAVS exam pattern for all the posts under the OAVS Recruitment are provided in the tables below.

A. OAVS Principal Exam Pattern 2023

• The question will be Multiple Choice Objective Type.
• The duration of the test will be 3 hours
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

• There will be an interview for 60 marks as well for the post of Principal.
• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Parts II, III, IV & interview (40+30+70+60=200).
• For the preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme will be examined (Parts II, III & IV) and interview: 70% and 30%.

B. OAVS TGT Exam Pattern 2023  (English/ Odia/ Math/ Science/ Social Studies)

• The duration of the test will be 200 minutes
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

• There will be an interview for 40 marks as well for the post of TGT.
• Part-II and III of the test of the candidate will be evaluated only if he/she qualifies in Part-I securing a minimum of 5 marks each in English and Odia subjects and 13 marks in aggregate.
• For the preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70 % (Parts II, III), and Interview 30%.

C. OAVS PGT Exam Pattern 2023  (English/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Math/ Commerce/ Economics/ Computer Science)

• The duration of the test will be 200 minutes
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

• There will be an interview for 40 marks as well for the post of PGT.
• Part-II and III of the test of the candidate will be evaluated only if he/she qualifies in Part-I securing minimum of 5 marks each in English and Odia subjects and 13 marks in aggregate.
• For the preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70% (Parts II, III), and Interview 30%.

D. OAVS Art Teacher Exam Pattern 2023 

• The duration of the test will be 200 minutes
• Each question will carry one mark.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

• There will be an interview for 40 marks as well for the post of PET.
• Part-II and III of the test of the candidate will be evaluated only if he/she qualifies in Part-I securing a minimum of 5 marks each in English and Odia subjects and 13 marks in aggregate.
• For the preparation of the final merit, the weighted evaluation scheme shall be tested 70% (Parts II, III), and Interview 30%.

OAVS Admit Card 2023 

Candidates can download the admit card once it is released by the commission. Candidates who are found conditionally eligible for the respective post they have applied for, as per their declaration in the online application shall be further called for Computer Based Test (Online). The provisional OAVS admit cards for the same will be issued to applicants. The OAVS Admit Card will be allotted purely on a provisional basis to the registered Email ID of the candidate.
