The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has released the official notification for Jharkhand Intermediate Level (Computer Knowledge and Hindi Typing) Combined Competitive Examination (JIS(CKHT)CCE) to recruit eligible candidates. A total of 864 vacancies have been announced for various posts like Junior Clerk, Stenographer, etc. This is a great opportunity for 12th-pass candidates to secure a government job in Jharkhand. • Candidates were able to apply online from 2nd November to 1st December 2023 but the application dates stand postponed. 
• The Jharkhand Inter Level Examination is a single-stage exam. For selection to the desired post, candidates who qualify the JIS(CKHT)CCE will have to undergo a typing test/ typing & shorthand test depending on the post they are applying for. Candidates applying for JSSC Clerk will appear for only one OMR-based Mains exam. 
• The candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board of education to be eligible for this examination.

JSSC Inter Level Selection Process 2023

The selection of candidates for various posts through the JSSC Inter Level Exam will based on the following stages:

• Written Examination (Mains)
• Tying/ Shorthand & Typing Test

Note: Candidates applying for JSSC Inter Level Clerk post will have to appear for only one Mains examination consisting of three papers such as Language Knowledge, Knowledge of Tribal and Regional Languages, and General Knowledge

Eligibility Criteria for JSSC Inter Level Examination 2023

Candidates who wish to apply for the JSSC Inter Level Exam must fulfil the required eligibility in terms of their qualifications and age limit. The details of the Eligibility Criteria for JSSC Inter Level Exam are as follows.

JSSC Inter Level Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the JIS(CKHT)CCE, the candidate must have passed class 12th or 10+2 level (Intermediate) from a recognized board of education. The post-wise JSSC Inter Level qualification is given below.

• For the Junior Clerk post, candidates should have passed the 12th class with a Hindi typing speed of 25wpm.
• For the Stenographer post, candidates have to pass the 12th class with a Hindi typing speed of 30wpm and a Hindi Steno speed of 80wpm.

JSSC Inter Level Age Limit

Candidates applying for the JSSC Inter Level Exam must be at least 18 years of age. The upper age limit must be as mentioned in the table below.

Exam Pattern for JSSC Inter Level Examination 2023

The JSSC Inter Level Exam in an objective-type test. There will be three sections in the question papers. The detailed JSSC Inter Level Exam Pattern is given below for your reference.

Note -

• All three papers will be conducted in a single shift. 
• Objective-type questions will be asked only. 
• 2 hours will be allotted to each paper. 
• Each question carries 3 marks.
• A negative marking of 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Except for Language paper 2, the exam will be conducted in English & Hindi.
