The JEE Mains 2024 Notification Out!. The National Testing Agency has released the notification for Joint Entrance Examination (Session 1). Interested Candidates can submit online applications from 1st November 2023 to 30th November 2023. The National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Mains in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2024) and Session 2 (April 2024). The JEE Mains will be conducted between 24 January and 01 February 2024. The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a national-level entrance exam and through this exam, applicants are provided admission into UG engineering programs in various IITs, NITs, CFTIs, and other institutions. 

• For admission into B.E/B.Tech courses under JEE Main 2024, candidates have to appear for JEE Main Paper–I. 
• While for admission into B. Arch & B. Plan courses, students are required to qualify for JEE Main Paper–II & III. 
• JEE (Main) 2024 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. 
• Candidates can download their JEE Main City Intimation slip for Mains (Session 2) from the official website using their application number & date of birth.

JEE Main Application Form 2024

The candidates can apply from through the online mode. Follow the steps to attend the recruitment.

Step 1: Visit JEE Mains website. Click on the link to register for the exam.

Step 2: This will redirect you to the registration page.

Step 3: Register yourself through a valid email ID and mobile number.

Step 4: After registration, an application number will be generated.

Step 5: Log in with the application number, create a password, and enter the captcha.

Step 6: Complete the application form by filling in the personal details, uploading the required documents as per specification. Try the Testbook Resize Tool to upload the documents as per format

Candidates who had already applied for Session 1 do not need to register once again for Session 2. They can log in with the Application Number and password and update their Paper, Medium of the examination, State code of Eligibility and cities for Session 2 and pay the application fees.

• Step 7: Other than the scanned documents, the application will need details such as the qualifying examination details, center of examination, mode of payment, etc.
• Step 8: Once you fill in all your details, make sure that you download the receipt of acknowledgement and get a printed version for further assistance.

JEE Main Application Fee (Expected)

The application fees for JEE Main 2024 exam vary for each paper as well as category-wise for boys and girls. The application fees are different for the exam centre in India and outside India. Payment can be online via debit card, credit card, or internet banking. 

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2024

Before registering yourself for the exam, it is advised to please go through the eligibility criteria and check if you fit in to appear for the exam. Let’s have a quick look at the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2024-

• Educational Background- The candidate must be either appearing or must have cleared the 10+2 level exam or equivalent from an authorized university or board.
• Students who hold a diploma are also eligible. But the exception for the diploma holders will be that they will only be considered for the IITs. The scorecard will not be applicable for NITs and CFTIs.
• There is no age limit
• As per the specific subject criterion, the candidates must have passed Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or any other technical vocational subject from the 5 subjects opted for.

JEE Main Syllabus 2024 (Expected)

The candidates can access the JEE Main syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. This syllabus for JEE Mains 2024 covers both Paper 1 and Paper 2. This means that the students preparing for B.E/ B.Tech courses as well as the candidates preparing for B.Arch/ B.Planning courses can access the syllabus from here itself. Also, this would apply to all four sessions.

PART II-

• Transformation of forms both 2-Dimension and 3-Dimension union, subtraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes
• Creating 2-Dimension and 3-Dimension compositions using given shapes and forms
• 3-D Perception-Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, color texture, harmony and contrast, building forms and elements,
• Generation of Plan, 3-Dimensional view of objects, and elevations
• Generation of Plan, elevations, and 3-Dimensional views of objects
