A total of 362 Vacancies have been announced by the Ministry. Interested Candidates had applied from 14th October 2023 to 13th November 2023. The age limit for IB Security Assistant (Motor Transport) is 27 Years. Candidates who have passed class 10th from a recognized board of education are eligible to apply for this post. The Intelligence Bureau has activated the IB Security Assistant apply online link 2023. Candidates had started applying from 14 October 2023 (12:00 AM) onwards.

IB Security Assistant Application Process 2023

The applications for IB Security Assistant Recruitment application had started on 14th October 2023. The steps to apply online are as follows:

Step 1: Register yourself through the MHA official website or NCS Portal only.

Step 2: After Registration, log in with your credentials to fill the IB Security Assistant/MT Application Form. Enter all required details and complete the application.

Step 3: Upload the required documents in the prescribed format. You may use Testbook's IB Security Assistant Photo & Signature Tool to upload the same.

Step 6: Pay the Online Application fee.

Step 7: Submit the application form. Take a printout of the same for future reference.

Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant Application Fee 

The IB Security Assistant Application Fee has 2 components - Examination Fee (INR 50), and Recruitment Processing Charges (INR 450). The details of exemptions in fee payment are as follows.

IB Security Assistant Selection Process 2023 

The selection process for the post of Security Assistant/ Motor Assistant at the Intelligence Bureau of India comprises the following 2 stages:

• Tier I - Objective Test
• Tier II - Motor Mechanism & Driving test cum Interview

IB Security Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates applying for the said post must check the detailed eligibility before submitting their applications. Candidates who do not fulfill the IB Security Assistant Eligibility Criteria will be disqualified.  

Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant Age 

The age of the applicants as on Closing date, must not be more than 27 years. The age relaxations allowed for the reserved category candidates are as follows:

• SC/ST - 5 years
• OBC - 3 years
• Departmental candidates (served at least 3 years) - 40 years of age
• Widows, divorced women & women judicially separated from
  their husbands & not remarried - 35 years of age (UR), 40 years of age (SC/ST)
• PwD - 10 years
• Meritorious Sportspersons - 5 years

IB Security Assistant Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the post of IB Security Assistant, the applicants must have the following qualifications:

• Completed matriculation (10th) or equivalent from a recognized board of education.
• Possession of domicile certificate of that State against which candidate has applied.
• Possession of valid driving license for motor cars (LMV) issued by the competent authority
•  Knowledge of motor mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle)
• Experience of driving a motor car for at least one year after obtaining valid driving license.

Relevant field experience is desirable.

The applicants must have domicile certificate of that State against which she/he  has applied.

IB Security Assistant Exam Pattern 2023

The candidates will be appearing for a three-tiered selection process. The IB Security Assistant Exam Pattern for all the three tiers that will mark allotment has been mentioned below.

• The correct response will be awarded 1 mark. 
• There will be a negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer.
• No marks would be awarded for an un-attempted question.
• For the post of SA/MT, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of combined performance in Tier-1 & Tier-Il exams.

IB Security Assistant Salary 2023 

The IB Security Assistant is a Group C, Non Gazetted post. Candidates appointed to the said post will be entitled to Pay Matrix Level-3 with a pay scale of INR 21700 - INR 69100.
