The IB has released a notification for the recruitment of candidates to various Group B and Group C posts under IB/BoI (MHA) on a deputation basis. A total of 766 vacancies have been released. If you aspire to appear for the IB ACIO Grade 2 exam, you must fill out the application form carefully. The application form release date for the year 2023 will be notified once the official notification is out for the year 2023. IB ACIO Exam Selection Process 2023 

The IB ACIO Grade 2 selection involves the following 3 stages -- Paper I and Paper II, followed by an interview. 

• The first stage will be a MCQ-based paper written test, which is a total of 100 marks.
• The second paper will be the essay writing and comprehension test. It is a descriptive paper.
• The selected candidates will be called for an interview. The interview will be conducted to assess Subject Knowledge in the relevant field and Communication Skills.

Age Limit

The IB ACIO Grade 2 aspirants must be at least 18 years of age. The maximum age limit is 27 years. Age relaxation facilities are available for the reserved category candidates we will discuss in the table below.

• B.E or B.Tech in the fields of Electronics or Electronics & Tele-communication or Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics or Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering; from a Government recognized University/College/Institute. Or
• Master's Degree in Science with Electronics or Physics with Electronics or Electronics & Communication or Computer Science; or Master's Degree in Computer Applications; from a Government recognized University/College/Institute. 

Nationality

The candidates must be citizens of India to be eligible for the IB ACIO Grade 2 recruitment. They must have relevant document proof supporting their claim, being the citizens of India.

IB ACIO Exam Pattern 2023 (Expected)

The exam pattern provided below is as per the last recruitment cycle. It is just for the reference of candidates we have provided the team pattern in case a written exam is conducted in future exam cycles. There are two written exam phases for the IB ACIO Grade 2 exam. The Tier I paper is objective, whereas the Tier II paper is descriptive, as mentioned above. Now, we will be discussing the exam pattern for both tiers. 

IB ACIO Grade 2 Exam Pattern for Tier I

The tier I exam has four sections: Qualitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Analytical Ability, and English Language. There are 100 questions, one mark each, to be completed within 60 minutes.

1: For incorrect answers, the candidates will be penalized with 1/4th mark. 

2: To be eligible for the Tier II exam, it is compulsory for the candidates to secure at least 33 marks out of 100. 

IB ACIO Grade 2 Exam Pattern for Tier II

The Tier II exam is a descriptive paper consisting of comprehension and essay writing. The time allotted for this exam is 1 hour. The total mark is 50.
