CMAT Provisional Answer Key Out! The exam was held on 4th May 2023. The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination known as the CMAT. The CMAT Exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year to admit candidates to various management programs in India. What is NTA? 

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), which is now known as the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GOI) has laid the foundation of the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous, and prominent testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent and international standards tests to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher education institutions.

7th March 2023: CMAT Last date Extended!

29th April 2022: CMAT Results have been published

The results for the CMAT Exam have been published on the official website of the National Testing Agency candidates can check their results from the official website. 

CMAT 2023 Registration

Candidates can apply for CMAT 2023 through “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. Multiple application forms submitted by a candidate, will not be accepted.

Step 1: Candidates must apply on the official website to register for the CMAT Exam 2023.

Step 2: Apply for Online Registration using your Email Id and Mobile Number, and both should be active throughout the admission process. 

Step 3: Fill in the online application form and note down the system-generated Application Number.

Step 4: Upload scanned images and other relevant documents; candidates can use Tetsbook’s Resizing Tool to resize photographs according to the given format.

Step 5: Pay the fee using SBI/HDFC Bank/Paytm Payment Gateway through Net.

Step 6: Candidates can submit the CMAT Application form once it is filled and get a clear printout.

Image And Signature Specifications

  • A recent photograph (file size 10kb – 200kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible, including ears against a white background;
  •  Candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb - 30kb); 
  • PwD certificate (if required) (file size: 50kb to 300kb) in jpg/jpeg format.

CMAT Exam Eligibility 2023

To apply for the CMAT 2023 exam, candidates possess below prescribed CMAT eligibility criteria like education and age limit eligibility.

CMAT Educational Qualification Eligibility 

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree, whose results will be declared before the commencement of admission for the academic year 2023-24 can also apply.

CMAT Age Limit Eligibility

As specified in the notification, there is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT 2023.

CMAT Nationality Eligibility

To apply for this exam, the candidate must be a citizen of India.

Step 2: On clicking the above link, a new page will be displayed where you will be required to enter details such as the Application number, Password, and Security Pin.

Important Guidelines For Admit Card

  • No candidate will be allowed to appear at the Examination centre on a Date and time other than that allotted to them in their Admit Card.
  • If candidates cannot download Admit Cards from the website, they may approach the Help Line between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Important Documents Required with Admit Card

  • Print copy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA website
  • One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet at the Centre during the Examination
  • Any one of the authorized Govt photo IDs (original, valid and non-expired), viz. PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card
  • PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.

CMAT Answer Key 2023

  • The NTA has released the Provisional Answer Key of the questions on the NTA website, with a Public Notice issued. In this notice, NTA will allow the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Keys with a non-refundable online payment of Rs. 200/- per question, challenged as processing charges. 
  • Only paid challenges made during the stipulated time through the vital challenge link will be considered.
  • The subject experts will go through all the challenges received, and a final answer key will be declared. The NTA’s decision on the challenges will be final, and no further communication will be entertained.

CMAT Cut-off 2023 (Expected)

The participating colleges will release CMAT 2023 cutoffs after the result declaration. CMAT cutoffs are the minimum score/percentile required for admission to MBA courses offered by colleges accepting CMAT scores.

NTA will release the result of the CMAT 2023 online mode on its official website. The result has been published as a CMAT scorecard and merit list. Candidates can check the CMAT 2023 result and download the scorecard by entering the given login credentials (Application number and Date of birth). Check how CMAT Result is prepared.

Preparation of Results for each Session:

 The Examination results for each session will be prepared in the form of

  •  Raw Scores
  •  Percentiles Scores of Total raw scores.

The Percentiles would be calculated for each candidate in the Session as follows: Let TP1 be the Percentile Score of the Total Raw Score of that candidate.

Total Percentile (TP1) :

100 X

No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score EQUAL To OR Less than T1 score.

Total No. of candidates who appeared in the session.

Compilation of NTA Score and Preparation of Result:

The Percentile scores for the Total Raw Score for all the sessions (Session-1: Day-1 Shift-1, Session-2: Day-1 Shift-2) as calculated in Step-2 above, would be merged and shall be called the NTA scores, which will then be used for the compilation of result and further processing for deciding the allocation.

If the percentiles for the multi-shifts are dissimilar/unequal, the lowest will be the eligibility cut-off for that category for all candidates (i.e. all shifts).

Note - NTA will not provide any provisions for result/ score review/ re-evaluation/re-totalling, and no query will be entertained in this regard. The examination conducting body National Testing Agency (NTA) will provide CMAT Score 2023.

Candidates are advised to carry only the following with them into the Examination venue:

  •  Candidates must carry Admit Card, and Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printable on A4 size paper) duly filled in. 
  •  Candidates must carry additional photographs to be pasted on Attendance Sheet. 
  •  Candidates must carry personal hand sanitiser (50 ml). 
  •  Candidates must carry a personal, transparent water bottle. 
  •  Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) if the candidate is diabetic.
