Earlier, The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced the recruitment for Tradesman 2022 in various trades(Cook, Barber, Sweeper, Washerman, etc). The application dates for the post was from 21st November 2022 to 20th December 2022. 

• The applications process had started on 21st November 2022. 
• The selection process of the CISF Tradesman will be a Trade Test, Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standards Test, Documentation, Trade Test, and Written Test. All the stages of the selection process have been conducted and only the Written Test of the selection process is remaining.

17th October 2023: CISF Tradesman Admit Card Out!

The Central Industrial Security Force has officially declared the CISF Tradesman Admit Card 2023 for the CBE stage. Candidates will be able to download their CISF Tradesman hall ticket using their registered CISF Roll Number and date of birth on the direct link given above. 

9th October 2023: CISF Tradesman Exam Date Out for CBE!

The Central Industrial Security Force has officially released the CISF Tradesman exam date for the Computer-based exam stage. The CISF Tradesman exam date 2023 is scheduled on 31st October 2023 in second shifts as per the official notice below.

CISF Tradesman Vacancy 

The CISF Tradesman post has a total of 787 vacancies for various trades. Below we have given the detailed breakdown of the number of vacancies according to each trade that falls under the tradesman post as well as zone wise/category wise break up. Check the tables below for detailed information.

CISF Tradesman Apply Online

Candidates who want to be part of the CISF for the post of Tradesman can follow the steps given below to know how to apply for the application form and its process. Read the steps below.
 

Step - 1: Visit the official website and download the official notification from the CISF website for the post of Tradesman 

Step - 2:  Take a print out of the Appendix-A form which is available in the notification. 

Step - 3: Fill all the details such as your name, trade, birth date, gender, religion, category, address, visible identification mark, etc.

Step - 4: Fill your Aadhaar card details in the space given.

Step - 5: Affix your recent passport size photograph onto the right-hand side of this form.

Step - 6: Fill in your respective educational qualifications without any mistake as these will be later verified in stage-I. 

Step - 7: Sign the declaration part which is at the bottom of this annexure. 

Step - 8: Double-check the details which you have filled in this form to ensure that your CISF Tradesman application form is not rejected. 

Step - 9: Send the Annexure-A form along with the application fee to the concerned DIG of CISF.

CISF Tradesman Application Fee

The application fee is applicable to candidates who fall under the Unreserved, OBC and EWS category. The application fee should be sent in the form of postal order addressed to the officer in the zone in which the candidate is residing. The application fee once paid will not be refunded. 

CISF Tradesman Selection Process

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) recruitment for the post of Tradesman has more than a couple of stages in the selection process in which candidates need to qualify in order to be selected for the post. The stages of the selection process are as follows.

• Height Bar Test: Candidates need to attend the Height Bar Test which will be the first stage. In this stage only if the candidate meets the requirements of the CISF board, will they be considered eligible for the next stage.
• Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standards Test: In this stage the candidates physical efficiency and physical standards will be checked. (Running, Measurements, etc). Only if the candidates complete all the tasks in this stage, will they be allowed to attend the document verification process.
• Document Verification: All selected candidates will be called up for the document verification and if all documents produced by the candidates are valid they will be sent up for the Trade test. The documents the candidates need to produce will be of educational qualification, category certificate, etc.
• Trade Test: In the Trade Test, candidates will have to undergo a test related to their respective trade post. This will be a test to see if the candidate is capable of fulfilling the job he has selected for the tradesman post.
• Written Test: This stage will be an OMR based written examination. Candidates who qualify all the stages of the selection process process will be considered eligible for the post of CISF Tradesman.

CISF Tradesman Eligibility

Interested candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The organization has listed a few factors which candidates should satisfy. The eligibility shall be proved at the time of document verification. Failing to do so will result in the cancellation of the candidature. Nationality

The CISF has nationality as eligibility criteria for candidates to appear for the examination. Candidates need to be Indian Nationals/Citizens. Those candidates who are from other nations cannot apply for the post. If so, they won't be considered by the CISF board.

Age Limit

The CISF allows only candidates who are between the ages of 18 and 23 are eligible to apply for the CISF Tradesman post. Age relaxation will be extended as per the rules of the government.

Educational Qualification

The CISF accepts candidates who have a Matriculation or any equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University for Skilled Trades for the post. ITI trained personnels will be highly preferred. The qualification of ex servicemen should be matriculation or 10th pass.

Note: Those candidates who do not meet the above given eligibility criteria will not be eligible to attend the recruitment process of the CISF Tradesman post.

The questions that will be asked in the written examination will be solely based on four different subjects. CISF Tradesman Exam Pattern

The CISF Tradesman exam will be an OMR-based written examination. Candidates who qualify this section will be eligible for the post. The exam pattern for the written exam is given below.

• The exam will be of four different subjects. (General Awareness/General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, Ability to observe and distinguish patterns  and Basic Knowledge in Hindi and English).
• The exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi language.
• With a total of 100 questions, the exam will be of 100 marks.
• Each question will weigh 1 mark each.
• The exam duration will be 2 hours. 

CISF Tradesman Exam Pattern for Medical Examination:

A proper medical examination will be conducted of those candidates who have qualified all stages of selection. The candidate’s weight, eye-sight, and other important features are inspected in this exam. After the medical examination is completed, the authorities will declare whether the candidate is Fit or Not. Candidates can appeal against the rejection (Unfit Medical Status) within 15 days from the date on which their medical exam was conducted.
