The The Bihar Public Service Commission has extended the BPSC Judicial Services Mains apply online 2023 process. Now, candidates can submit their applications forms with late fees from 7th November to 8th November 2023 in the name of BPSC, Patna. 3rd November 2023: BPSC Judicial Services Mains Exam Schedule Out!

The Bihar Public Service Commission has announced the official BPSC 32nd Judicial Services Mains exam schedule 2023 on its official portal. The BPSC Judicial Services Mains dates 2023 are scheduled to be held from 25th November to 29th November 2023 in two shifts on each day (1st shift: 9 AM to 12 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM).

3rd October 2023: BPSC 32nd Judicial Services Mains Notification Out

The Bihar Public Service Commission has officially announced the 32nd BPSC Judicial Services Mains 2023 Notification. As per BPSC Judiciary Prelims result, only 1675 aspirants are eligible to appear for the 32nd Bihar Judicial Services Competitive (Main) Examination scheduled from 25th November to 29th November 2023. Candidates can also start applying from 5th October while the last date to apply is 25th October 2023. 

26th September 2023: BPSC Judicial Service Exam Result Out

The BPSC Judicial Service Result for the exam held on 4th June 2023 has been released. The BPSC released 1675 shortlisted candidate results on 26th September 2023. BPSC Judicial Services​ prelims Results will be available on the official site.

Selection Process for BPSC Judicial Services Exam 2023

The BPSC Judicial Services Selection Process is divided into three stages. The candidates have to clear each of these stages to be selected for the desired post in the department of the judiciary. The details of the selection process are as follows:

• Preliminary Exam: This is the first stage in which all the applicants have to appear for a written exam. The exam is based on Multiple choice questions. There are two papers in the Prelims, one covering topics from General Awareness and the other from Law.
• Main Exam: For the mains, aspirants have to attempt a written paper that covers subjects such as general studies, languages, and law. For law, candidates must opt for any 3 subjects from the available five optional subjects.
• Interview: The final stage of the selection process is the Interview. This is in the form of an oral exam in which the aptitude and practical knowledge of the candidates are judged.

BPSC Judicial Services Eligibility Criteria 2023

The BPSC Judicial Services Eligibility Criteria is specified by the commission in terms of the candidate's age, and qualification. Those who do not fulfil these requirements will be disqualified. Check details of the same below.

Age

The age of the applicants for BPSC Judicial Services must be between 22 to 35 years. However, the maximum age limit for the reserved category candidates and women applicants is 40 years. The reference date for age calculation is 1st August 2022.

Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the BPSC Judicial Services exam, the applicant should have a graduate degree in Law from any recognized university in India.

BPSC Judicial Services Prelims Exam Pattern

​The BPSC Judicial Services Prelims exam carries 250 marks. The questions asked will be objective-type. To qualify this stage one has to get 45% of the total marks. The last stage of the selection process is the Interview. It carries a weightage of 100 marks. Candidates who pass the Mains are only considered eligible for the interview.
