• The selection process of APSC CCE includes two stages i.e. Preliminary examination and Mains examination. The Mains examination is further divided into two different parts i.e.the written exam and an interview.

How to Apply for APSC CCE 2023? 

Candidates aspiring to ace the APSC CCE recruitment 2023 can apply for the recruitment drive from 21st January 2023 to 10th February 2023. By following these below-mentioned simple steps candidates can apply for recruitment easily. 

Step 1: Visit the official website and then candidates have to click on “APSC CCE 2023 Apply Link”.

Step 2: A new window will opened on the candidate’s screen. Now, candidates have to enter all the necessary information as required.

Step 3: Candidates must also choose their choice of examination center during filling out the application form.

Step 4: Now, candidates can cross-check all the information that is added to the application and click the click on the “submit” button.

Step 5: Candidates can keep a copy of the application form for future reference and use.

APSC CCE Application Fee 2023 

The candidates who will be filling up the application form are required to pay the fee . Only by doing this the application process of the candidates will be considered completed. Under the Digital India initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the Government of India, APSC has decided to launch its online recruitment portal with the help of CSC-SPV, a MeitY-approved organization, which will charge a processing fee of Rs. 40.00/- + 18% tax = Rs. 47.20/- from each candidate. More details are as follows:

APSC CCE Eligibility Criteria 2023 

Candidates who wish to apply for the APSC Combined Competitive Exam recruitment 2023 need to make sure that they will meet all the required eligibility criteria to be eligible for the recruitment. Only the candidates who will fulfill all the required eligibility criteria will be eligible to apply and attend the recruitment drive. The details of the eligibility criteria are as follows.

APSC CCE Age Criteria (As of 1st January 2022)

Candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria in terms of age limit. Candidates are only allowed for the upper age if they are eligible for age relaxation. We have provided the age limit for the reference of the candidates below.

• The candidate should be 21-38 years of age.
• The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates of some categories. The details are as given below:

APSC Combined Competitive Exam Educational Qualification Criteria

Candidates appearing for the APSC CCE recruitment examination must qualify the minimum educational requirement by the recruitment authority. We have shared below the complete educational eligibility criteria below that candidates can check: 

• The candidate must hold a Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess such qualification as may be declared equivalent by the government.
• Candidates should be able to speak Assamese or another official language/ tribal language/ associated language of the state.
• Candidates must be registered in the District Employment Office of Assam.
• Candidates must be original inhabitants of Assam.

APSC Combined Competitive Exam Nationality Criteria

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

APSC CCE Selection Process 2023

Candidates applying for the APSC CCE recruitment will be selected on the basis of the selection stages decided by the authoritries. The Assam Public Service Commission Combined Competitive exam will consist of two stages as the selection process. Only if the applicant qualified both of the stages of the selection process will be considered as eligible for the individual posts. Candidates can take a look on the stage-wise selection process details as given below:

Stage-I: Preliminary Examination

The first stage of the candidates' selection process will be the Prelims Examination. This exam will include the objective type questions exam, and this will be conducted for a total number of 400 marks. This stage is known as the screening stage to select deserving candidates for the main examination. Candidates who qualify this stage of the selection process with the required qualifying marks will be called for the next stage of the selection process i.e. Mains examination.

Stage-II: Mains Examination and Interview 

The main examination of the recruitment drive includes a written examination and interview. Candidates must need to qualify for this stage which will be conducted for a total number of 1775 marks. The candidates who clear this stage of the selection process with minimum qualifying marks will be considered as eligible for the respective posts which they had applied for.

APSC CCE Exam Syllabus 2023

Candidates preparing to ace the APSC Combined Competitive Exam 2023 must know the detailed syllabus for the exam. As the syllabus for the exam plays a very important role in the preparation of the examination. We have provided below the detailled syllabus for the exam that candidates can follow:

APSC CCE Exam Pattern 2023

The Recruitment Examination will consist of two stages of the examination i.e Preliminary Examination and Mains Examination. The Preliminary Examination Consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions for a duration of two hours each. And the exam pattern for the main examination is different from the preliminary examination. We have shared the exam pattern for both of the examination stages below that candidates can refer.

Exam Pattern for Preliminary Examination 2023

General Studies will be the subject of the Preliminary examination.

• The examination will consist a total number of 400 questions (200 questions for each paper), and the exam will be conducted for a total of 400 marks.
• Each question will carry +1 mark.
• There is a provision for a negative marking of .25 marks.
• The exam will be conducted for a total of 4 hours. (2 hours for each paper)

APSC CCE Exam Pattern for Mains Examination 2023

The candidates who qualify for the first stage of the recruitment drive i.e preliminary examination will be eligible and called up for the mains examination. This is the final stage of the selection process. The interview process will also be conducted by the recruitment authority along with the mains exam. • The candidates must have to write answers in English as well as in Assamese language.
• The interview will be conducted for a total number of 275 marks.
• Candidates need to score the minimum qualifying marks to be considered eligible and qualified for the respective posts.
